Annarita Pancini.

Annarita Pancini was born in Piacenza on October 10, 1970. Her passion for drawing and colors took shape at school at about the age of 10. She began by painting on stones, and then continued by painting her first family portraits. After her elementary school years her parents however enrolled her into a technical institute for commerce, considering her artistic aspirations "without a future"; here she graduated in accounting in 1989. She immediately began working as a clerk, pursuing her passion for art in her spare time. In 2000 she married and two children followed. Despite having already learned to paint on her own, the "turning point" for her passion for art came in the year 2021. Whilst working as an employee for a transport company she discovered that she had a colleague like her, whose hobby was painting: Anna’s painting, which to that point was an intimate moment to be kept secret turns into a desire to display her works to an audience. On March 26 2021, she held her first exhibition at the Piacenza Art Workshop, to the favorable opinion of the public; in June of the same year she took part in the "Canal Grande" art exhibition at the Palazzo Revedin Pisani in Venice; and in the same month, it’s called for “Estatarte” a collective exhibition that continued until September at the international gallery Area Contesa Arte Margutta street 90 in Rome.

 Subsequent events:

 -  FROM 18/09/22 TO 01/10/22 COLLECTIVE OF CONTEMPORARY PAINTING at the gallery “Dantebus” – Margutta street 38 – ROME

-  24/09/2022 MONTECARLO – PALMA D’ORO PER LE ARTI VISIVE 2022

-  24/09/2022 MILANO – MILANO ART & FASHION WEEK at the international Passepartout Unconventional Gallery

-   FROM 1 OCTOBER she becomes Permanent Artist at the AREA CONTESA art gallery ARTE Margutta street 90 in Rome

-  FROM 07/10/22 TO 09/10/22 at ART 3F MARSEILLE 2022 with the art gallery Queen Art Studio Padova

The curriculum will be updated regularly after the last event, as many others will follow in the time to comebecause having managed to dismantle her belief of "It's too late", she has learned not to censor herself and to give herself permission to see a dream that has been kept for too long hidden in ‘a drawer’ finally come true.

The passion for art and everything related to creativity was born with me, continues in parallel with daily activities, and is experienced, until recently, as an intimate moment to be kept secretly.

Thanks to a colleague who spurred me on for some time, this pleasure has turned into a desire to confront an audience.

It is something innate, a tool that allows you to express feelings, which despite being personal and individual, belong and are common to many people.

I am a self-taught painter, I ALSO use everything that can be “transformed” or recycled, combined with canvas, acrylic, tempera, oil and watercolor; my personality is fully expressed in my paintings, with soft mixtures, strong features and intense colors; I prefer portraits, especially female ones.

With spatulas and brushes I confront a world of infinite stimuli that I reproduce on canvas, where nothing is given to chance and where accumulations of color or matter have a meaning.

I think that in the works of an artist there is so much of himself, that something is then transfigured in his own creations, becoming a particular style that is the expression and synthesis of his own history.

I firmly believe in remaining humble and not getting excited following any successes achieved, indeed: you must always learn from your mistakes and value them, both as an element of self-learning and as a communicator of an inner artistic vision, where the unconscious tries to express itself.

Criticism:

“Three moments of growth, various shades from light gray to black, up to the white of the moon that stands out with its luminous disc on a deep universe. The work with its precise horizontal lines contrasts with the lunar curves producing a strong contrast ".

Alfio Borghese

Artist Annarita Pancini, constantly looking for new materials, mixes elements that become artistic to produce unique and unusual contemporary works. The use of different media is what makes each piece so unique.

The techniques she uses vary according to the subject and size. She uses on the canvases, acrylic, tempera, oil and watercolor and disparate materials often deriving from recycled production.

She applies with the spatula, launched with precision, thick layers of colors; the finishes introduce a further dimension of constantly evolving reflected lights. She reinvents fragmented images.

The bold art of assemblage is a product of an intricate process of appropriating fragments and objects until the compositions create their own affirmations by experiencing and loving the self-made vibes.

Art was and still is the means used by Annarita to express herself and to channel her energy.

She mainly uses canvas and panels to create her brightest compositions by mixing various figures but above all female human faces.

You have the ability to use individual elements such as parts of texts, stencils, magazine images, various objects found on the street, ink, marks and pencils, and to make them all complete in a single homogeneous composition.

Her energy and hier love for working with various styles and subjects are reflected very well in her works of art. Her paintings possess a rhythmic quality, created by the repetition of motifs and textures, which seek the balance between realism and highly stylized expression.
