"FIORI DELL'ANIMA" is a series in which childhood is not enveloped in serenity and beauty, but contextualized in a raw, inhospitable, somehow claustrophobic environment. A decay that highlights a society with an uncertain future, increasingly anesthetized to common problems, blind to the drama. It is an invitation to reflect on socio-environmental issues, on the responsibility that everyone has towards nature and others. In the background, chimneys, industrial plants, building rubble loom, while in the foreground we have presences - absences that appear in passing, with the consistency of thoughts and the softness of melancholy. These ethereal figures have an iconic value, no longer a symbolic childhood but a society tested by the yearning to be able to project itself towards tomorrow. However, they are resilient souls and then here in the rubble beautiful flowers bloom, a new cycle begins.
Rosy Mantovani
Rosy Mantovani was born in 1968 in Vigevano (PV), currently lives and works in Gambolò (PV).
After graduating in advertising graphics at the Academy of Applied Arts in Milan, she began a training course as an illustrator for a prestigious Milanese agency. In 2000 she enrolled in the painting course held at the Roncalli Foundation in Vigevano under the guidance of the painters Oronzo Mastro and Davide Avogadro, thus beginning her technical and artistic maturity with the first exhibition events. Since 2012, numerous solo and group exhibitions as well as participation in art competitions where she receives prizes and awards.Her works are present in national and foreign private collections.
